Re: Poker Stars Instant EChecks

Just signed up with Stars in June '07.
Never used EChecks yet the option was offered to me recently.
On 8/28, deposited $500 via EChecks. On 9/7, I requested a paper check cashout. Stars indicates that the $500 via EChecks had cleared. Checked with my bank today and the funds are still there. Weird...

So apparently, I should deposit the max on Stars, withdraw via paper check ASAP and deposit, and I'll make interest on the difference until they figure out how to clear these deposits. Hopefully, they'll have it figured out before I kick myself for not doing this.

Still haven't received my cash outs despite many emails saying wait 7 days, it will come this week, etc. I'm guessing not a single person has received a cash out using e-checks since they were re-introduced.

I don't think so either.

uphigh_downlow and I both cashed out via eChecks some time around 8/24. I think that was right when the processing errors started to occur as well. When we were first getting emails the staff at PS didn't know about the eChecks processing technical errors.

Since the new emails after they found out about the technical error saying "processing has now been completed you should see the money in 3-5 days now", it has been 4 or 5 business days and still no $$$ in my account or uphigh_downlow's.

have to remember they mean business days, so for me they sent the email on a thursday.

So if we count Thursday, Fri, Mon, and today I'm at 4 days. If we count Fri Mon and Today Im' at 3 days.

So I'm not sending an email yet. But I will Friday if I don't see some [censored] letuce hit my account.

Very frustrating to get stonewalled by the cut and paste apologies-this will be done soon emails. I am waiting for transactions to post from August 30th and heard the same stonewalling that all of you have. This demonstrates the helplessness that the sites have us in. Will they pay...of course but its vexing to see this decline in customer service.

Perhaps the sites are at the mercy of their processors, which are at the mercy of their banks. It's after all some messy situation in the US for moving money after NETeller was forced to drop out.
