Orange,

Good idea on the movies. I'll throw out a few that I have enjoyed over the years that might not be popular with today's youngsters

1) The Great Escape and Stalag 17. Two excellent WW2 movies set in German POW camps
2) Ben Hur - I wish I could see this at an IMAX theatre for the chariot race.
3) Singing in the Rain -- While most people think of it as a musical, it is actually a very funny comedy that stands the test of time.
4) My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany's - Two very good movies with Audrey Hepburn. 'nuff said
5) The Manchurian Candidate (original with Sinatra) - Very chilling cold war movie that was released (and pulled) shortly before Kennedy was assassinated.
6) Planet of the Apes (Original) -- The ending, while well known today, was quite shocking at the time and quite chilling, considering the state of the Cold War.

I think I'll host my home game again; haven't done it in a couple months. The last time I did it, we played double flop NLHE (normal rules, just two boards dealt) hi/lo and DF PLO/8. That should fill most of this weekend!

Meh, the joys of working at seven eleven, in Japan.

One guy came in and asked for "two marlboros" We have literally 117 different kinds of cigarettes, 13 of which are marlboros. I asked him which one. He said the soft pack. Which narrowed it down to like 7. I was like "this one? " "No. "this one? "no. "this one? "no." "this one?" "yeah."

I scanned two, he then said he wanted one so I unscanned one.

Then after I'm done the [censored] filed a formal complaint against me. Wtf. Had my coworker stamp this thing and write down my name and she signed it.

Dick.

Anyway, I was working with this 19 year old japanese girl, who's only 2 months younger than me. We were supposed to check the expiration dates of the freeze-foods.

She was like; "Do you know what day it is?" "yeah. "what day? " "uhh.. the.. fourth? "second." "oh." "ok, check all the food here that has a 2 for expiration date and put it in this basket. "Ok."

I kinda slacked off and sang "yesterday" to myself while thinking of how I could be better spending my life. Then she came back.
"Did you check them all? " "yeah. "really? "sure."

Then the first thing she sees on the shelf is expired food I didn't take down. "What's this?!" "uh.. oops." "Did you REALLY LOOK?" she got angry, then I said "wow, you look cute when you're angry."

She actually treated me much better after that.

Also, older co-worker that asked about my wang spent my 20 minute lunch break with me. I usually spend it alone. I made her laugh. She's started a school in 2 weeks solely for learning english. I said I'd teach her. I asked if she has work on saturday/sunday. She said she does but it ends early.
I was going to ask her to do something, then I kinda mehhed out.

I'll ask her tomorrow.

oh and Jay, very cute. Here's your line: "Hi, I'm Jay. I'm heading [out/etc] for a cup of chai/coffee/beer (but chicks dig chai). Would you like to come?" It's simple and straight forward. No bull. If she's interested, she'll come. If not, well, it's a great fantasy. ;-)

Lol at how many people took my post seriously. Did you take the bit about writing her a letter seriously aswell? And wtf is chai lol?

Jay,

Here's a full proof plan.

1) Find out where the target will be for the next week
2) Get tufat and compnay to dress up as paparazzi
3) Rescue her from the obnoxious tufat who is trying to take upskirt pictures
4) ??????
5) Profit (and TR for SSNL)
