I'm re-watching 7/15 - "Sally Returns." This one really was pretty decent.

After Bret plays his tribute song to Sally for Dave and Jemaine.

Dave: "That's a sure thing, bro....What's a Chinese junk?"

Bret: "It's a kind of ship."

Dave: "Oh yeah, sure. Women love that kind of sensitive nautical [censored]."

Bret: "Really?"

Dave: "Yeah, haven't you even seen Watership Down?"

Bret: "No."

Dave: "Well, me neither, but women love that film."

Jemaine: "I was just gonna give her this card that I made [opens an intricately designed pop-up card]."

Dave: "Holy [censored] did you make that?"

Jemaine: "Yeah."

Dave: "That's beautiful. She's gonna love that."

Jemaine: "I dunno."

Dave: "Oh yeah she is."

Jemaine: "Just a bit of paper and five hours' work."

Dave: "Now that is super sensitive. I mean that reminds me of when I saw a puppy being born. I mean, just to see its little head just coming out of that dog's pussy. What an incredible moment man, beautiful."

did we all watch the same episode? i thought it was hilarious! the racism dragon was awesome!! dave was KING and that fruit stand guy was great.

solid 7/10 for me

IMO this was the worst episode of the season. But I still think the "not as funny" episodes are worth watching and funnier that mostly anything else on TV. I've enjoyed every other episode thoroughly. I think my problem now is that I so look forward to any scene involving Murray that I kind of consider the rest of the show filler. Also, I think they could easily do this show without the songs, despite the fact that their live act is all music.

This ought to be OOT's television slogan.

I think most of you are on crack. This episode delivered. I thought the dragon part was kinda dumb, but it led to a hilarious exchange between Bret and Jemaine.

Bret being mailed the box was hilarious.

Murray is always funny. Glad to see him get a song.

The rap was great.

Dave was above par this episode. I liked the flipping bird work out.

There were just lots of great, subtle moments that made me burst out.

IMO the show has gotten progressively worse over the past three episodes, though tonight's was far worse than either of the previous two.

I definitely get the feeling they've run out of fresh ideas, and I imagine that next week's episode will not be much better than tonight's.

I agree that this ep was a little forced and not as solid as others, but I have no idea how you can infer that they've lost it on the basis of one lousy showing.

Would you say that most shows have some episodes that are better or worse than others? I don't really understand your reasoning - because you thought his episode was hilarious, nobody else can think it wasn't as good as other episodes? I thought it was funny, but I would watch any of the previous eps again before rewatching this one.
