Basically: Kind of like how you'd handle a child, give this girl a spanking then buy her ice cream.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's how I handle most girls of any age

[/ QUOTE ]

No. it's normally the other way around. They spank me and then buy me ice cream

[/ QUOTE ]

This works for me as well

Mine is better.

Another option: get on a plane and physically to go the company to get an explanation from Uncle. Weird situation.

Chair,

Can't wait to start crashing in your guest bedroom!

Chair,

If you had a friend visiting you and staying in your guest bedroom and she ended up hooking up with him, would she be allowed to spend the night?

[/ QUOTE ]

I feel this is reasonably likely to become a relevant question at some point, so this would be a good topic to address.

[/ QUOTE ]

D and Cardo - no problem with her spending the night w/ out of town guests.

I must say, after a few of the same type problems/seeking advice thread, that you guys really REALLY overthink how to handle a girl/woman/female and/or how to approach, etc. etc. As a woman, I can say that ANY man that comes up to us is usually (unless she's a major bitch) treated very well and even if we're not interested per say, we won't strike you down in front of your friends...for the most part that is. If you're getting this a lot then I'm thinking you're attracted and going after the wrong type of girl and maybe you should re-evaluate what a true woman is and what characteristics she has.

IMO, of course.

Chair and FFK,

I don't think a good friend would be offended if you told them that you wanted to spend some alone time together in your new place on the weekends. I would think with dupree being a girl, she would understand the newlywed aspect a lot more than a guy would. I think it would go over a lot smoother if you told her you wanted some alone time, rather than getting into a long discussion about her being around too much.

I'm pretty non-confrontational though, so that's how I would try to play it.

Um, like, pretty women with nice bodies? Yes it is all about looks. Well, initially at least.

Seriously, I think that most women are the least qualified to give guys advice on attracting women. Especially when less attractive women try to do it (not taking a shot at the women in this thread).

I agree. Also, something I think a lot of guys don't realize is that some of the amateur PUA tactics can come off as extremely rude if you're not careful. If I'm out with my fiance and friends, standing at the bar to buy a drink, and some half-sloshed guy sidles up to me with a slurred neg-hit, um yes I'm going to tell him to [censored] off.

Meh, to the guys in this thread, never never never ever in a million years ever listen to a woman on how to pick up a girl, or what they tell you they are attracted to (especially the older ones, KKF/fluff arent as bad). Whats posted in this thread isnt "overthinking" its what us as guys do everyday, naturally, we just happen to be able to figure out what works and what doesnt, and to quantify it. A good greeting (and this may be my bias due to my work) goes a long way.
