games are a bit easier, build confidence, cut ur lossrate when not playing ur best, not go bust.

i mean if ur playing ur A game throughout the whole downswing then no need to move down but i doubt many people can do that.

Is there any reason to move down other than to build confidence? I mean, if I can't beat 2/4, I can't play poker for a living. And if I'm a losing player making bad decisions, the only thing that 1/2 will do for me is cut my loss rate in half.

is this a joke/level?

it's very possible to make a living playing poker at stakes under 2/4.

and just because one can't beat 2/4 doesn't mean one can't beat 1/2. 1/2 is laughably easy compared to 2/4.

You mean, can I lose 100/hr doing something else?

Thinking poorly of yourself isn't good for a poker player. Some sort of cockiness is required. If 1/2 can you get you out of this mindset then it is surely a good thing. Even playing .25/.50 for a tiny bit and beating up on donks could be good if it makes you remember how easy it can be to win at this game and gets you back to thinking positively.

aejones works as an escrow for me. would you be interested in doing like 10k hands instead of 20? i have a fuckton of work in my senior sem and some other classes and theres no way i can average more than 2 hours a day playing u...and i dont really want to be grudging for 3 weeks.

since i guess there would be more variance/luck we could reduce the escrow to 5k or something if u wanted as well if we decide to play less hands

[/ QUOTE ]

yea, the more I think about it the less I like the idea of playing a ton of hands vs. a regular whether I think ur exploitable or not. Game selection ftw. How about 10k hands, 5k bet? Going out now for the night... will check tomorrow.

[/ QUOTE ]

ya lets do 10k hands, 5k bux sidebet/escrow. we can start monday or whatever and hopefully we can do it in a week or a little longer.

also, check sportscenter there are some clips of gameday preview. we do our friday walkthrough down on the gamefield and they were filming in the corner.

it was really electric even though it was the night before. pretty sick to hear herbstreit and corso talking over the PA system and hearing the CGD music blaring as we were doing our walkthrough. i think tomorrow is just gonna be so awesome, it really is a once in a lifetime experience

someone said running hot causes him to play tons of hands:
lol. i made like 14k in 5k hands so far on 5/10 obv running hotter than the sun and ive got ZERO motivation to play now. plus, ive gone from a 3pm - 7am schedule (obv doing nothing) to getting up at 6.45 am. [censored].
