For example from Skytrain Nana to MBK, it is a straight trip but not if you put on the meter

why would you want to take a taxi here? just take the skytrain it goes straight to mbk. hassle free in 5 minutes.

Well yeah ofcourse. The first time we went to MBK we took a taxi though and I meant in general the taxis can be a pain. And prolly would be alot more awesome if you knew some thaiii yaa.

It's all shades of grey here.

Chances are that even if you get a non-whore who likes you she is still going to expect/need you to pay for a lot of stuff cuz you have so much more money than she does.

Someone was axin about suits earlier.. I just got a hand made suit done in Chiang Mai for 6500 baht. they did a fantastic job. Lots of choices, etc. They measured me initially, then i went back for a second fitting, they redid stuff, and I just went and picked it up. Came out great.

6500 baht~ $175 or sumpin.

I just spent a month in Phuket; will do a semi trip report in the next few days. It's not my favorite place in Thailand, but in terms of 'paradise places' it's not too bad.
