if she doesn't know you know she has a boyfriend, and never says anything to you directly about him, i wouldn't ask anything, i'd assume she's open for business until she says otherwise.

I never post, but after reading this story, I felt the need.

If a girl really has a boyfriend, she will only bring up the "I have a boyfriend" when a guy is too needy or moves to fast. Just because she has a boyfriend or some "mutual friend" says she has a boyfriend doesn't mean [censored].

Someone posted and said that they need to hang out more so she can see if he is a guy that is worth being with. That is exactly what she is doing now. She wants to make sure that this guy is worth dumping her boyfriend for (is she really has one).

'Bob' just needs to take things slow by building comfort with her. This is extremely important and will allow everything else to progress (relationship aspects, sexual aspects etc).

And the LAST thing he should do is ask "so do you have a boyfriend?" PLEASE! If 'Bob' really wants this girl, this will kill it SO fast. He shouldn't bring up anything with her seeing other people, dating, boyfriend. NOTHING! It will only work against him.

Besides, 'Bob' is too baller to even care if she does have a boyfriend. It shouldn't even be a concern for him. Why? 'Bob' knows that he is the best thing that this chick could ever have (even better than her boyfriend). He needs to take this attitude/mindset.

Guys,

She has introduced him to the boyfriend. The most likely course of affairs at this point is that she assumes (correctly) that Bob knows she has a boyfriend. We are past the point of not mentioning the boyfriend.
