They cannot knock down the door as far as I know. Seriously, doesn't a felony have to be in progress to do that? I would instantly get a lawyer and explore the options.

I've been in several situations where we just refused to answer the door, be quiet and the cops leave. In my old college town, answering the door while having a party got you arrested even being 21+.
