I think all can agree that the offensive line is awful. Just awful. I don't know if that can be fixed this year. There probably has to be personnel changes, not just scheme changes. Ugh.

There was absolutely no reason to only score 16 on this team. Why we're not going 4 wide out of the gun every play is beyond me. Our line sucks, and the best way to get time is to throw from the gun. 7 sacks is inexcusable. It's time to get away from "The Steeler Way", and adjust to the personnel we have to work with. Defense had key stops inside the red zone, and there's no reason we shouldn't score more than 16 points against them.

Everyone missed tackles. Troy was horrible. James Harrison is a monster, and overall the D played fine.

On O, they had too many drives stall inside the Jets 30. The Jets did a good job of keeping Ben from working miracles with his scrambling and buying time. What is with FWP's new habit of falling down? Dookie Davenport got a lot of carries, so I don't think I'm alone is wondering why the hell FWP simply falls down all the time.

The Jets' chuck-and-duck offense drew some big penalties, and there were two timely penalties that bailed out the Jets (the hold on Haggans after the fumble through the EZ and the lame late-hit on Aaron Smith that kept a drive alive on 3rd-and-15).

The OL is a problem. Smith is getting older, Faneca is now average, Mahan is poor, Simmons is worse, and Colon can't stop f-ing up. What's worse is that it will take two years to rebuild through the draft (and for the picks to develop) and FA is not an option. OLmen are getting paid way to much in FA; I can't wait to see what a ridiculous offer a washed-up Faneca is gonna get. Good for him for getting paid, but he provides no value at the price he's gonna get.

Phil Simms gushing over Kendall Simmons and the OL helped me go from angry to full-blown, ranting monkeytilt. Tomlin has to do something; I want Kemo to see the field. If nothing else, he'll bring some intensity.

Polamalu and Holmes both out at least 1 game, possibly more with knee and ankle problems. Great. I'd rather see Myron Cope running routes than Nate Washington.

Hey, he gets open. It's the catching the ball thing he's not too good at.

I think the only solution is to move Faneca to center and fire the rest of the o-line. He would snap to Ben in the shotgun on every down and we would rely on the 9 wideouts to create mismatches in the D's dollar package. Unfortunately this would mean abandoning the running game, but it hasn't done much the last few games anyway.

OK, I just woke up and looked at the stats on nfl.com and nothing seemed out of place except the score. Can someone briefly explain wtf happened? It's too soon after the game for sports writers to have put anything up.

They moved the game from Heinz Field to the Allegheny River.
