So this random dude started observing a bunch of matches telling people he knew them. He would say "it's Chris" and then when they said "Chris who?" he'd say "who else?" because everyone knows a Chris LDO... Then he proceeded to beg for money. I saw him do this to at least 6 people. I asked him why he was observing our tournaments and he said he usually plays in them. I asked how he would find out about them and he said "through friends" (lol).

Then in the final round he made a bet on the winner with Futuredoc who I warned about the scammer but he paid anyway when he lost! Yeah it's only $10 but cmon now, don't be that sucker!

No wonder there are so many beggars and scammers out there. Apparently it works!

Fair enough but why would he be railing random private tournaments pretending to be people's friend and asking for loans/stakes if he's in any position to be betting?
