I am really loving this show. They're gonna have to do something really super-retarded for me to change my mind.

But then again, I like Studio 60, so WTF do I know.

frankly i'm shocked that the response has been so positive. i expected worse. i'm interested to see if support stays strong as the season goes on.

Yeah well, bunch of deadwood-heads just happy to have another taste of Milch's prosody. Me included.

BTW, I still don't know whose picture you posted earlier in the thread - Dillahunt?

It was Mark Paul Gosselaar. He will be there around episode 6 IIRC.

At work when people ask me dumb questions or something I don't know the answer to...out of boredom I've started saying random JFC lines in response...mainly "Mitch Yost needs to get back in the game"...and occasionally a couple Butchie phrases.
It is really starting to piss people off lol.

Just say "I don't know Butchie instead."

Guess I'm in the minority but I'm giving up on this show after the first 2 episodes. In fact I just canceled HBO. And I love Milch and thought Deadwood was probably the greatest show ever.

But I find this show to be slow-moving and pointless. Where Deadwood was filled with fascinating characters, this show has none. And more importantly, none of them are likable, at all. Nothing much interesting happens and it seemed like a very long 50 minutes watching it all the way through.

Maybe it will get great later, but sorry Mr. Milch I gave you 2 hours and you delivered nada so far so see ya.
