wtf, that is like saying there should be no low limit poker forums because all the info needed to beat the games are in books. some posters may not read the books and just take the easy way by following advice on the forums.

gym forum would be a great idea IMO. people could post workout routines, nutrition diets, goals for the month, year, etc.

And we could also discuss the information that is already out there.

Most people won't even do the proper research on T-Nation anyway. Having a gym forum will help people to stay on the same forum and ask questions to those who have done the research.

Not to mention kyleb gets to go green and has access to by far best forum of alls.

i have been a big supporter of the gym forum and think it will be a good idea as long as it isn't the same question over and over which seems to happen...someone will come and say "hey tx/thremp/guids, im fat and out of shape, make me a training program" tx will make some long program with tons of reps, thremp will link to t-nation etc....if used as a place to post goals/blogs/progress pics etc i think it could be really cool...

i just worry that it will be mostly questions that could be handled in a detailed faq...

We'll see. I think I'm going to be disappointed.

well if we had one I would post my daily nutrition/ workouts/ maybe even progress pics once in a while. it is a good motivation for both myself and others to do that kind of stuff.

all we need is a good FAQ to solve your problem which I agree is a very valid concern to having the forum.

Thremp,

This isn't a matter of not working through the pain in my knee. I literally can barely do the elliptical without ridiculous amounts or burning. Lifting is not an option really.

As far as asthetics/balance goes, my lower body is a lot bigger than my upper body anyway.

Maybe TXredman or smiley can help me out with my above question??

Yes, the two big concerns of mine for The Gym (coming soon) are:

1) A good FAQ and/or sticky posts to cover common info,
2) Progress/workout logs that are regularly updated. I'll pick some users to do it and if updates stop happening for a few days, the threads get locked permanently.

Yes, I'm getting the Mods Playground forum when I hear back from Cola.

Did you read what I wrote? Or just have a prewritten excuse?
