Neever mind. They obviously saw sixth and seventh coming. LOL

Out 1569ish. My M was ~10 after the first round of games, and since it's Wednesday, I run bad (except for Razz.)

I would also like longer levels. Do these always start at 30/60 with 3000 chips?

Also, 270/540? Strange.

So much for that.

The jump between 5-6 is nasty. You got to soften it a bit. Half the table seemed to disappear after several hands, although that could be terrible play. Lots of 3 and 4 bets though.

The whole 270/540 thing just really feels wierd. I'd suggest something like

100/200 for HE and O8 then
200/400 for the stud games.

Out in 883rd - had a guy at my table pushing every street, and catching cards... A deadly combo... I caught a low hand and went for it, but came up short.

My thoughts on the format:

If this was a deep stacks tourney, where we have a large starting stack and long levels, an increase after every game is needed.

With large starting stacks but short levels (like this one was) the increase we felt here when the levels did go up was very painful. I would have preferred smaller level increases after each game. This may be a function of the sheer size of the levels - not the concept of when they were increasing...

If we were to balance the two out - say a deeper stack, but longer levels (for example 20 min levels), increasing the levels between stud and flop games would work - but I would still flatten the structure a little bit. The concept was awesome, but the stakes were too high too quickly.

Possibly:
20 / 40
30 / 60 / 6
50 / 100
75 / 150 / 15

etc, etc, etc.

Just a thought...

oh - and make it a bring in of 69 at some point rather than 81... give us immature buggers something to giggle at...

And I'm out.

Yeah, those stud to flop changes are murder. I didn't really feel the first jump as bad because I doubled up pretty early on, but the 2nd time around it was pretty much pushbot mode.

I wasn't at all a fan of this structure. I think that you should continue the different blinds and antes for each game to make it work better.
