Randy Moss had a great game...but it was like the 4th best game of his entire career. He also had hammy problems already and has a chronic history of injuries..plus the Pats have Ben watson, Wes Welker, Faulk, Donte, etc to throw to

The Panthers have Steve Smith

cds, moss put up sick fantasy numbers from 2000 thru 2003. 220, 174, 172, 260. even in 2004 he put up 138.

steve smith had 138 in 2003, hurt in 04 then had 220 and 166.

no one really thought moss would return to old form, but this first game seems to indicate hes just as good. did you see him outjump everyone? and outrun everyone? numbers indicate, when healthy and motivated, moss has a better track record than ss. also, brady is better qb and throws a great deep ball.

factors against moss is that carolina has an easier schedule, plays in better weather and (like you said) ss is the only real weapon.

victor: yes, he outran and outjumped everyone. it also helps that the jets generated zero pass rush all game.

i say steve smith and it's not close. teams will begin to focus on moss more.

Yes if Moss stays at top form for the whole season he should obv be the better WR.

But I think it is far more likely that Moss does not stay at top form for the whole season then it is that he does.

Steve Smith seems in my view as less of a risk.

*Trade Advice Needed*

1qb, 2 rb, 2wr, 2 flex league, standard scoring.

QB: Eli Manning (prolly out this week, mortenson report was wrong, expected to start next week), JP Losman, Daunte Culpepper

RB: Addai, R. Brown , Lynch, Edge (traded for), Norwood, D. Ward.

WR: Andre Johnson, Hinez Ward, J. Cotchery, Amani Toomer.

Ok I have a ton of depth at RB, but I can start 4 so I like the depth, my question is should i target a Ward/Losman for Rivers type of trade, a Lynch for top tier/high second tier wr trade , or a Lynch for a guy like Drew Brees on a team with no RB's.

Not sure which avenue to go with, its a 12 team league and a bunch of guys are hurting for RB's and I have by far the deepest crew. Should I stay put? Or if I should deal, which one would you like best?

Also I like Lynch alot, but do you think hes pretty expendable for me since I have so much depth? Or does the two flex spot mean I should hold on to him? I shopped Ronnie Brown but couldn't get value for him, alot of people like Lynch tho.

EDIT: I had a VERY strong week 1, but variance is a bitch so who knows. Defense is Minny, TE is Heath Miller, K is Mason Crosby, for anyone wondering bout full scope of team.

Haha oh yea, def winnar. Although don't be surprised if Barber starts getting more and more carries and becomes a top 20 back.

But you gotta accept it.
