Well, I had to call and have them explicitly "push" the PPV. Buying it with my remote did not work (I got a black screen). Hopefully, you don't have several hours of a blank screen on your DVR.

p.s Comcastic!

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmmm. I bought it with my remote last week. Crap on a stick!

I'm at work and just got a chance to catch up on the FT and see that 2 players have busted already. I don't have time to read through 900+ posts in this thread. I'm DVRing the FT to watch later and then catch up with the live action (if it goes long enough which isn't looking too likely right now). Have there been any problems with the ESPN PPV feed?

[/ QUOTE ]

Personally, I had one hiccup early during introductions, but since it's been clear. Your cable provider may differ, though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry. I should have been clearer. I have Time Warner cable in Los Angeles.

[/ QUOTE ]

I do too, usually it sucks real bad, but there have been no problems so far.

MT2R, were MSNLers saying that the push was good, or the call was bad, or both?

the power of christ compels you.

if i was at the table, i would be offering our savior jesus christ 2% more than yang is giving Him.

Then I would ask the lord to forsake yang for myself as I am the true main event prophet.

I disagree, who would have seen Joe Hachem coming in 2005?... Andy Black had a huge chip lead...

All,

Childs is the guy who limp re-raised Ac Qs and then called a 5m all-in from As Ks and won, right? If so, I'm glad he took that beat v. Yang.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good point, these kind of suckouts happen a lot. A dog pre-flop but not a prohibitive dog. Yang is playing "long ball" and I don't think the table was ready for that tactic when they started play today. Now he's got a lot of chips and can put people to the test.
