The clear choice right now is Carlito's Way at 8:00 on Bravo. Not the best mob movie ever, but very enjoyable.

[/ QUOTE ]

Carter is the very easy choice between the two.

I agree and watching Carlito's Way now. But Al Pacino badly overacts in the movie - almost as bad as Scent of a Woman.

He's been doing that for 20-some years now.

True. It has gotten worse as he has gotten older.

Another thing in favor of Carlito's Way - Penelope Ann Miller is super hot.

Yeah, she didn't even seem like anything close to the same girl I had seen in her other movies.

Awesome! Daniel N. got some airtime on Poker being skill, not luck.

bobo, for the most part, I have stuck to listing shows on the major broadcast channels. Feel free to add your thoughts on hot cable shows. I'm very interested in hearing what shows others are watching, that I haven't included.

You could start by telling us a bit about "Rescue Me"...

RESCUE ME

This show is about a NY firefighter. Season One started in the 9-11 time. The main character (Denis Leary) is absolutly great in this role.

What I would recommend for people who have not seen it is to get caught up by renting the earlier DVDs. Season one is great. I would describe it as a 49% drama, 49% comedy, 2%action show. I don't want to go into great detail on the previous events of the show, (spoilers) but I can't think of a show I have enjoyed more in the past few years.

Plays on FX, same slot as the Shield, Wednesday night. Replays a couple times a week.
