I suppose I could take one for the team here. I almost bit it on day 1 and I should have died yesterday anyway.

Note, I'm not IY.

He's saying to put your vote on Elevens with the rest of the village and sacrifice your win with the bad guys. The bad guys would then have to have Brill kill me today to stand a decent chance of winning. With traz alive tonight, he can see you and convert you to the village side so you can win with the good guys (whom you've thought you've really been playing with all along).

There are two significant caveats that make things ever so interesting that you'll have to work out for yourself.

It can't be that simple - surely they just set Brill on Traz anyway and remove that option from the equation. What I think's wrong with their logic is their apparent belief that Asharak can out himself in the thread by voting for Madorallen and then still control Garion's vote. Them telling him who to switch garion's vote to and him doing so is fine: but them saying "Asharak vote Mandorallen" then a "villager" doing that would seem to me to be about as obvious an outing of Asharak in the thread as you can get short of him signing it "Asharak".

Re: Belgariad game thread

yes, but the mods won't count that as "outing himself".

Their idea of asharak outing himself is almost strictly him saying I am asharak.

Pistolero or whomever,

The reason Im asking for someone to do the homework for me is because today is my B-Day. I am heading out to dinner with some friends but I will definitely be home before the deadline. I am asking for someone to outline it for me so I can just read it when I get home and make a decision. I dont have a lot of time at the moment. Thanks to anyone who helps.

MDD,

If you think they are telling the truth about you, you can autowin EITHER by,

(a) Voting with the bad guys, or

(b) voting with the good guys, forcing them to kill Mandor (by killing traz with you on the village side, the village will autowin). This will resolve to a coinflip described below, with you winning with either outcome:

For traz: elevens, pudley, ???(Asharak), ???(Nachak)

For elevens: everybody else (10)

With the vote 10 - 4, Asharak and Nachak do their thing and swing it to 7-7.

We coinflip; if traz dies, good guys lose, you win with the baddies.

If traz lives, you get turned tonight (if you are errand), baddies kill traz, but we are in a lock position with all the bad guys known, so you still win.

If the bad guys are lying about you, when we lose the coin flip, traz (if he believes them) will see you, fail to turn you, they will night-kill traz, and I believe that the village will be in an auto-lose situation. So this method actually does no good if they are lying about you, and traz believes them.

I'll be back in a few hours. We're not killing mandorallen today. We're killing traz.
