I posted the ad because I thought it was funny not because I was looking for personal assistants here

You thought wrong. And after that Nanny from Minnesota just got killed as a result of answering some creeps ad on Craig's List, you are also guilty of bad timing.

mmm finding something irrelevant and then arguing it as if it were relevant...

why is everyone so upset that someone isnt going to be massively overpaying a college student who needs some extra money? This job is better than 100% of jobs i had in college.

[/ QUOTE ]

Probably because normal wages sound like a total joke if you play poker.

This isn't really underpaying considering it is about 10 hours a week of stuff to do and he's flexible enough to allow the assistants to work around his own schedule.

For some people, cooking / cleaning / buying food / shopping are things they already like to do.

be careful with this. if she gets in an accident and gets injured while she's running an errand for you, you could be on the hook for all of her workers' compensation benefits if she makes a claim.

It just seems like the things he is having her do and the way he is paying her is setting this up to fail. There are better ways to go about hiring an assistant that will help you out more and for cheaper. There have been plenty of 2p2ers on here who have successfully had assistants, maybe they can say why their experience worked out.
