In all honesty, in the past few weeks, I've made a few concerted efforts to browse the Lounge's threads to find some good reading material. I couldn't find any interesting, fresh threads each of the 3 times I checked. I think you're having more problems than you think with the content in the Lounge.

might be worthwile to check out non-* week. If it turns out to be better, then good you've improved OOT. If it turns out to be a bad experiment, at least you were flexible and are willing to check out potentially better options. You have nothing to defend then if you've given it a chance.

DB et al should have no effect on anything even if they do spam, because you're the mod there. What does it matter when you have the final decision?

i too check the lounge and read it sometimes, but lately i've just found gay games. when did the lounge turn into a poor man's POG?
