I don't play in these games yet so I have a question... do you guys typically see a 35/22 as a very different player from a 25/18 player? Do you play any differently against them? Do you think that other players play any differently against them?

yes yes and yes

Sure you need to play differently against certain opponents but I assure you that in games with that table average where there are 4 50/20 players, one 20/15 guy and me, I will absolutely destroy the game playing 25/18.

Hopefully u will play 20/15 against 1 of them and 37/22 against the others (more limping with speculative hands when bad players limp before u and more blinddefending) and save 25/18 against the good LAGs that are +30/+20.

Ifu only played at such great tables Im pretty sure u wouldnt be a 25/18 but much more loose. If u are in LP or defending blinds against a 50/20 who limps, there are a ton of playable hands. He is only limping with hands that u normally would think about folding in same position.

Even when a TAG is present you don't play many hands against him.

The primary benefit of preflop aggression is to exclude people from seeing the flop

When i was playing an uber weak tight 25/16 and the 30/20 guys started showing up this was one of the first things I noticed. I kept having to fold "good" hands like QT that I would have liked to have played with a fish or two in the pot. The lag/tags of that era were just shoving me out of the way. In my adjestments i found myself playing 27/19, then 29/20 then 30/22.

One nice benefit of the lagtag style is all the crappy tags try to copy you!
