My parents got me Calphalon One 12" and 14" fry pans.

I got plenty of random kitchen crap from other folk. ("Here's a normal pasta strainer, as if there's a chance you didn't own a strainer. And here's a few plastic slotted spoons! Enjoy!") The pans are nice enough that I'm thinking about returning a pile of kitchen junk for the 8" Calphalon, because I want matching pretty fry pans. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

My fiance gave me a sort of "Stetson Gift-Card". That is, she knew I had been looking hard at nice hats, but she (and I) didn't know where or which I wanted to buy, but now I can get down to the real decision process, and then she'll pull the trigger.

Those things kick complete and total ass. Best steak I have ever had came off of one of those.

Real Calphalon pans are teh nuts (the all aluminum ones, not the no-sticks). I highly recommend them as a gift for any foodie.
