McDonald's Cheddar Cheese Sauce.... mmmm so damn good.

Also, fries covered in kebab sauce, kebab, and salad is [censored] amazing as well. I have now found my dinner.

Bearnaise sauce obv.

Good one. My fav diner breakfast is eggs benedict w/ bearnaise sauce + fries (and a fruit bowl).

Well on chips would generally have vinegar and brown sauce, maybe curry sauce ot BBQ sauce for a change.

[/ QUOTE ]

We're not talking about chips.

Also:
To those saying mayo please be specific. All mayo is not created equal:

In the northeast gravy. Everywhere, cheese.

If the fries are top notch, nothing but salt.

Otherwise, aioli.

in my experience mayo in europe and particularly in belgium is way diff than american mayo like hellman's. it's not nearly as thick and gelatinous, and if you're in a good place it's usually freshly made.

my inlaws used to live in belgium and visiting them there was awesome, nothing better than fritjes and a dekonnick.

I'm curious if those mayo fries were eaten with fork or fingers. My guess is fingers but I think the fork is optimal.

fork man, don't you see it?

[/ QUOTE ]

The cone seems unnecessary if you are going to use a fork.

Get a bleu cheese burger and let the cheese/grease dribble all over your plate. Add ketchup. Partake.

How is it possible that no one has said Old Bay Seasoning?

[/ QUOTE ]

I second this. Old bay seasoning on fries is good. Also, as The DaveR mentioned, gravy on fries is another excellent choice.
