So, he has no job, monthly mortgage payments to meet, and owes £4,000 to friends. In this excerpt from his latest post he tells what he did with the money he had left:

"Tonight i used the £1652 to buy into £40/£80. i got upto about £4500 before dropping back below the £1600 mark and once again getting to about £2800 before going below my buyin mark again. the cards were still going with me though and i managed to climb back upto £5700 and cashed out there. i got my money in early on in the session with the worst of it but otherwise i just hit some nice flops rather than outdraw constantly. no great hands. one i played ridiculously badly where i called 2 pair on the flop, checked behind on the turn and let him hit a straight on the river and then called off a big bet for a £4100 pot. anyway, i run good.

i'm going to gamble the £5700 probably, ideally at $25/$50 but £40/£80 if its running."

Onwards and upwards!

I'd love to be his friends who he owes £4,000 to and see that he has more than enough to pay me back, but will most likely lose it all playing over his head. But I'm not his friend so this is entertaining.

Uh-oh:

"lost the £5700 on $25/$50 and £10/£20 with some real bad calls and general bad play. "
etc

Pity he didn't pay off the £4000 he owes his friends first!

I'm glad he lost. It made me smile, which is all that matters.

Jimm you should stake him. You'd be much more likely to make money than if you played with your money yourself.

Great idea, but I'll need you to stake me for staking him. 100% no risk!

LOWEST POINT YET
emptied out the other account on £10/£20 just now, playing incredibly recklessly. as soon as i lost the money i realised how stupid it was and just thought now that i'm relying on being lent more money to be able to play. i still have $150 in stars, i'll bust that off real soon probably, but i'm going to try and spin it up into $2600 for sundays tourney. it's possible i may not play for a bit now."
