i still play goldeneye with friends from time to time

i guarantee if it were released on virtual console (won't be since microsoft owns rights now), it would be a top 5 seller still

As much as I love this game in general, the [censored] irritating water planets are doing my head in. Goddamn impossible to control direction/speed etc... *rage*

It wouldn't be a true Mario game if the water levels didn't make you want to kill yourself.

The old Mario water levels weren't so bad as you can only move in so many directions.

3D water levels however...!%$%£!£"$£$%^%$&£%$^**%$ !!!!!!!

meh the water levels arent that bad imo. once the camera gets submerged its ok. i thought the frozen fire galaxy was worse.

I don't get why your extra lives get reset to 4 every time you restart. I guess it would be too easy if they didn't.

Good thing you keep getting a 5 live bonus from the Mailtoad. He is getting annoying though, leaving messages on my Wii. I have 34 stars so far and the game is awesome. Anyone else think the game is a bit too easy though?

I just came into this thread to ask the same question. I'm not an avid gamer at all, and hardly play video games anymore, but I'm finding SMG really, really easy. FWIW I have 56 stars and I've opened up all the galaxies in the observatory. If I were to guess I've put <12 hrs into the game so far.

It's somewhat disappointing that one could conceivably beat the game in a day if they just went for the easiest stars.

Yeah I was wondering that too. Had 27 lives at one point, saved/quit, and when I resumed I only had 4. Thought it was a bug or something lol

To those who find the game easy in general: please please for the love of god do the water levels for me I know you don't have to get every single star to complete the game, but for the sake of completeness I'm trying to do all the levels. Am just banging my head against the wall when it comes to water ones...
