Default Found a HUGE leak in my game. Need advice

So I play on FCP (limits are usually 100$ Max NL – 200$ Max NL. Sometimes I dable in 1000$ Max NL.)

So I just recently bought poker tracker and found to my surprise that I’m negative in the SB and BB. Not just a little bit either. A LOT. All other positions I’m positive in. and in like -2k in the blind positions. Should I just start to pretend that the blinds are just a normal not posting position so that I don’t try to DEFEND my hands etc or try to catch some hands? Has anyone else really noticed this as a leak in their game and if so how did u correct it? This is keeping me from being a big winning player.

Damn, you are down money when you are forced to put in bets without looking at your cards and need to play out of position the rest of your hands? You really need to work on that..

You are right on...I don't think anybody can be a long term winner in (any variation of) holdem in the blind positions. One thing about NL you have to remember, NL is not Limit, you will need to tighten up your standards when it comes to defending your blinds, especially your SB. Don't call 5 bets with 92o just because a super laggy maniac just raised your BB for the 20th straight time. If you feel you are losing more than you should from the blind positions, you are probably trying to play too many bad hands calling too many raises from out of position. In holdem, this is always a losing proposition no matter which way you look at it.

Why do ppl post to call me a moron? when im just looking for some simple advice. Just don't post if thast all you have to say.

I was unaware that people are such big losers in the blinds. Obviously it's not gonna be a spot where u make alot of money but i would have thought that you can at least be around even from them. But i guess not. Wasnt expecting such a negative response to this question. Sorry for attempting to learn.

No, you lose like crazy there. Don't defend your blinds without premium hands.

People on 2+2 suck. Get used to it. To answer your question play tight in the blinds and you're still going to lose money there, but everyone does so don't worry about it. If you think you have a leak make some adjustments but your stats are likely normal.

Check your bb/100 in the blinds. It's probably -.06 or something. Don't let the net scare you.

You should be positive once they subtract out the forced bets in the next column over.
