Can anyone recommend a good liquor store for purchasing bottles of alcohol in vegas or will casino liquor stores not rip me off that much? Thanks for any info.

There's a liquor store in the shopping area between Harrah's and the Imperial Palace. I don't know what their prices are.
I assume that Albertson's supermarket would have relatively cheap prices. You can find one about two miles east of the Strip at the intersecton of Flamingo and Maryland Parkway. |

dude seriously Liquor is easy to get for free in vegas
play penny slots in a casino and order top shelf drinks and tip the girl decent. I drank grand marnier the whole time I was there basically and for $1 a drink for something thats normally $15 its worth it. I believe dynasty is correct there is one there at flamingo not positive though. Also downtown has a place like right in the middle that sells footballs full of beer or long islands.. get that. Doesn't seem like it but that is alot of beer for like $5. |

I've seen people taking a shuttle from Barbary Coast to Orleans to fill luggage with alcohol at reasonable prices to take back to the strip.

It's when you walk into the casino, from where you can see the front of the Riv, on your left. Also, there is a liquor store just south of the Riv on the east side of the strip that sells decent liquor (I only remember buying Jameson from them, but I think they had others too). |

Thanks for the responses everyone, especially mention of the Orleans, I'll probably want to go there to play omaha anyway. If not i'll check out the other options.

[/ QUOTE ] Prices at the Orleans in general are reasonable. Chapstick and shaving cream at the gift shop, total $3.30. La Crema Pinot Noir in Prime Rib Loft, $27 (my local wine merchant sells it for $23). I have to think the liquor store inside the casino also offers fair prices. |

Ender III...Without a doubt Lee's Liquors. It has a huge selection and good prices. I know of 2 locations. One on the strip north of Mandalay Bay and one on Sahara and Okie.

Lees of course is the best if you want to stock a bar or are looking for a huge variety of even hard to find liquors, besides that you can buy bottles of liquor in any super market, bottles of liquor inside the casino gift shop go for like $25 a pint.
