Could someone at least say, "Fold. Standard" or whatever else would be obvious and appropriate?

A c-bet on the flop is fine, but I think you could get the same information for less on a flop like this HU. If you're going to c-bet (checking would be fine), then c-bet 350.

I'd bet at least 400 PF. I'd probably check the flop (You pot comitted yourself with your flop bet so why not just shove there?). On that flop I want to keep the pot as small as possible, but you bloated.
This was just an ugly hand imho.

I don't think he committed himself preflop. He put in 25% of his stack preflop. Granted that is large, but if villian has an A, then he's 9% to win the hand. He shouldn't have to be committed here with those kinds of odds.

Although, if he was going to re-raise preflop, I would have made it 300. Small difference, but it would have also saved him some c-bet money (if he chooses to make one). On a 6.50, I'd probably c-bet. Villian could easily have two paint cards without an A.

I play it like you except I make the flop bet a little smaller. There are no dangerous draws so a half pot size bet should do the work just as fine.

id make it 400 preflop, and cry when the A flops, and probably check. if you want to c-bet, make it smaller, if he doesnt have an ace he'll probably give up. once you face resistance youre kinda screwed and id just give up. once you make this huge flop bet though, its pretty tough to fold at any point after
