Help me killing a myth..

I don't know why but I always thought that most people playing poker are people with an engineer/mathematical background.

Is this just astupid thought?!

What is your profession/background?

math major. my best poker player friend is an information tech guy. but another really good one is a journalism major with a poor math background, so meh.

I think much more limit players are math guys. you can get away doing NL much easier if you're not math inclined than limit.
