tedtodd, If you are good at both, why not keep playing both? [/ QUOTE ] I'm inspired by people like Skier_5 who used to exclusively play tourneys, and has completely shifting to cash, and is now tearing up 5/10, for some serious cash. I think to continue to move up in levels would require a lot more focus on my game, and possibly a nearly exclusive switch to cash games to dedicate myself. Also, if games continue to get tighter with changing legislation, where will the softer players be? |

There is definitely more money in NL cash compared to tournaments, even at 2/4NL. But hey, if you are good and like playing tourneys, nothing wrong with playing those too. |

tedtodd I think your nuts if you want to quit playing donkaments. I wish I knew what I was doing. I won 3 $10 MTT's as I was learning, but havent really played more than 2 tournys yet this year, and very few in the last 9 months. I think if you can play both, do both. Cash games on weekdays and tournys on weekends sounds like an awesome plan to me if I was good at tournys. But for the life of me I can't play good for 5 hours straight, I just lose interest and play bad, so I stick to cash games. Nice results so far though gl.

Donkaments can be good money if you have the roll and especially the time. 70% ROI on 100s and 200s can add up if you play a couple hundred a month.

partypoker players,
party changed their HHs slightly which caused a parsing error on legopoker. I became aware of this problem approx 10 mins ago and it is now fixed. Sorry for any problems this may have caused. |
