Is Antonio Gates in the third round a good pick? He isn't expected to score many more points than Todd Heap, Jeremy Shockey, Tony Gonzalez, Chris Cooley, is he?

[/ QUOTE ]

In PPR he is WAY more valuable then all TE's.

Also, wtf, 6k for a league and Reggie Bush goes that late in a PPR league, wow, just wow.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, the league is awful. No offense Clark but I dont like your team very much.

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course the league is awful. Why else would I get in a $6k league if it wasn't ++++EV.

Regarding the team, I'm comfortable with the assets we have. It's not the best starting lineup, but when some of the teams in the middle of the draft get hurt at RB, the team they will come to is ours. The value we got at RB is pretty easy to monetize into a top WR once the injuries go. Not the best starters, but I think we have the deepest roster.

What teams to you like significantly more? I am looking into side bets with numerous teams on most points, etc.

What does your post-draft write-up usually consist of? I'm considering doing one for my league but I can't figure out what to put it in.

[/ QUOTE ]

They are pretty brief. About 3-4 sentences for each team. I will typically rank them 1-12 and give their strengths, weaknesses and season outlook. That usually consists of my prediction based on their division and keys to victory. Stuff like that. I sorta feel bad this year, becuase one of the potential bottom teams is one I listed above. I have ranked him dead last the past 2 years. This could be the third. I think he's under the impression I have it out for him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since I have draft dominator from FBGs I was planning on using a few things like "best value pick" "worst value pick". I was also thinking about ranking the teams, but just using baseline projections because they don't really want to hear my thoughts. I will definitely add in strengths and weaknesses. Thanks.

No one gets pissed off?

Also, writing a keys to victory = against common sense, unless you are planting seeds to screw up their team and get good deals going.

[/ QUOTE ]

I did it in 04, 05, wanted to pass it off to someone in 06. League guys begged me to do it. As commish this year, I didn't want to, again they are asking me to please do it. It may burn a little be told your team blows, but these guys are all pretty cool.

As far as keys to victory it basically consits of generic stuff. I don't see much harm saying that a team starting MBIII at RB2 needs a repeat performance from 06 or a JJ injury. Pretty simple stuff. I don't talk strat, it's all in good fun.

I see what you are saying now. I will probably add that as well.

I have Gates at about 4-5 points per week better than any other TE.

[/ QUOTE ] Oh yeah I also do the top 3 and worst 3 picks of the draft. Usually good for a laugh. This year I think Rivers at 3.10 may take the cake.

Really? I think they are one of the worst. Only two RBs, one of whom isn't great for PPR, the other of which is banged up already.
