Pokerboy;

You still running good for the month? I have actually been running well all month, so our idea that we always run opposite must be wrong, fortunately.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, this month is still going very smooth for me.

I'm getting my feet wet again at 200NL for the first time in a couple of months. I'm going to try to play a mix of 100NL and 200NL today.

I do notice that the agression is kicked up a notch. Some of the good players I have been bumping into are StarRainy and someone with the name lemon-pepper or something. But while there are more agressive players, there are also some weak players and some weak players as well. Not nearly as many donators, though, and by that I mean players with very large VPIPs and/or the desire to play big pots with weaker hands. Of course, it is only 9AM.

Yea,

I have the roll to go onto 200, but just am in no hurry anymore..I tried it a bit last month and it ruined my month(18k hands, dropping a buy-in), and I also wasn't playing my A game because I was basically scared money. Once I reach a certain number of buy-ins, I might just cash out 1k, then take 1k to play at 200 and play for real instead of being scared, and whatever happens happens.

Good Luck to you though

The mistakes I'm seeing so far are on the agressive side.

I just played a hand where UTG raised 5x the bb and I was next to act with AK. I called and everybody else folded. The flop was AQx. I called a bet on every street and at the end he flipped up AJo.

I also induced and picked off several big bluffs earlier from overly agressive players.

So while I think I can play and win against the spewers, I hope there are some fishies mixed in later in the day.

Unless you're coaching is pure BS!! ie: "Of course he has to call! Everybody knows a gutshot is 2:1 to hit!"

[/ QUOTE ]Actually I think even that is EV-. It potentially teaches fish what a gutshot is and how it differs from OESD and that there is a certain pot odds thingie to consider.

Well, I have found my nemesis Betgo at the 200NL tables. Once again, I get it all-in with the best of it and lose. Of course, no matter how either of us play this hand we are getting it all-in. But I wish this [censored] would stop luck-boxing me!

Aye. There's no worse feeling in pokah than getting in with aces, and a king lands on the board.
