Okay, need some quick advice.

My current stats are 1-2-2-1-0 (attack, fort, stealth, security, transportation)

I have been attacked once successfully for a total loss of zero. I am currently mapping out the terrain near me. Should I upgrade my security or my transportation?

If you are using all your moves and mapping, you should upgrade transportation, which will allow you to hop from mountain to mountain and get more productive moves in... in other words, go on an attack run thru the area that you have mapped, search alot of mountains/DB and still have plenty of moves left for new searching. My first month, I was so effficient at moving around, that I actually was getting in around 1500 moves some days! My avg for the 3 weeks I played in Jan was around 1200 moves/day.

After that focus on Fortification... upgrade security after every 2 levels of fort or so... so, go to SC2 after you hit FT4.

You should however, remain aware of your attackers... it is always better to spend your cash and upgrade, than have an attacker that you know is coming take your cash instead.

Know how much you bring in every day, and plan your play around getting to an upgrade.

I'm really close to getting my 3rd level fortification, should I do that or transportation?

I personally would go with the transport upgrade like Sniper suggested. It will allow you to skip over swamp and wasteland on the way to mountains and DB on your map. This will let you increase your $$$ quicker while giving you extra moves to go on a mapping run. You can then upgrade your fort level even faster unless you have a visitor every day.

zephed, you should time it to get the highest cost upgrade you can from your days moves! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

FT is the most important stat!... but, TR will allow you to move more and thus net you more cash/day!

I was unsure whether I would hit it before my moves ended. I ended up hitting a nice string of extra moves and would have come up with just enough to get a fortification upgrade, and my last move just so happened to be on a fort upgrade.

Anyways, I took the transportation upgrade because of the uncertainty of finding enough cash. I don't have very many bases near me, so I'm not really making much every time I get more moves. Basically all my money comes from the hills. I'll have to just start timing it so my moves come in one big chunk.

For as long as you can keep your attack low, you should be getting alot of money from the mountains/DB.

How much are you finding+stealing in an average day?
