bluef0x,

In Draft dominator using 2 QB's Manning is number 3, Palmer is number 7, Brady is number 14.

So, Tyler, I would really consider Palmer and Brady as your first two picks if both are available.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then you aren't using it correctly.

Manning is #9, Palmer is #21, Brady is #29 and Brees is #36. It pays to actually set the league up like TylerDurden's.

Under this format I would honestly take two QBs with my first two picks.

[/ QUOTE ]

...then be left with Edge/Benson as your two feature backs and Calvin Johnson as your #1 WR?! The QBs would go much higher if there wasn't a flex spot or fewer starting WRs AND it wasn't a PPR league. You're wasting your first two rounds to outscore your opponents' QBs by like 2-5fpg, yet will lose so much more in the RB and WR department.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont think it would be as drastic as that. If Peyton were available I would take Peyton, and guys that still get lots of receptions would still be around. Most of the good pass catching RBs will be gone by the 9th pick, so Benson and James would be pretty solid. Cadillac williams would also probably be around, and the gap between having the top two QBs would be enough to make up for the gap that will already exist because of the late draft position he is in.

I take Manning if Parker isn't there. However, having the top two QBs won't make up for the big gap in RB/WR. There's a reason QBs go later- and it's that they don't out perform each other by that much.

Projected value of #2 QB - #15 QB = 50pts. Projected value of #2 RB - #15 RB = 110 pts.

What are some thoughts on how well Darren McFadden will do in the NFL? I'm in a keeper league and I'm thinking about selecting him with my last round pick.

I had it set up for 12 teams. Whoops.

While I do think 2 QB's in the first 2 rounds is overkill, you don't want to be starting Grossman and Garcia which is what will happen if he waits until the 7th round to pick a QB.

Even if you had it on 12 teams, he doesn't move up that far. I'm guessing you forgot to edit the starting roster spots and/or adding PPRs.

Edit: I think Garcia will have a good year. He's not that old and has a coach that made Gannon look good. Plus, you aren't starting him every week. You're starting him against favorable teams.... TB and SF face the worst pass defenses often. I'd be happy with Garcia/Smith/Delhomme/Leinart/etc because QBs don't make a huge difference.

Does anyone want to help me come up w/ a good draft strategy for my league? We draft on Sunday and I pick 9th and 12th. We start 2 QBs (strange but interesting), 2 RBs, 3 WRs, one flex, 1 TE, D, K. It is a PPR league. It's a ten team league w/ standard scoring.

Last year my plan was to wait till late to take QBs but I wonder if I should try to grab one in the 2nd or 3rd round?

Here's my draft from last year:

1.4 Tiki Barber
2.17 Larry Fitzgerald
3.24 Warrick Dunn
4.37 Randy Moss
5.44 Santana Moss
6.57 Deuce McAllister
7.64 Thomas Jones
8.77 Tony Gonzalez
9.84 Corey Dillon
10.97 Chad Pennington
11.104 Phil Rivers
12.117 Reggie Brown
13.124 Mark Brunell
14.137 Roddy White
15.144 Jaguars D
16.157 Colts D
17.164 Jay Feely

Thanks very much for any help!

[/ QUOTE ]

QB either Peyton then Brees
RB

then for 3 and 4
RB
QB if Big Ben/Kitna/Rivers/Young/Leinert are avail which they probably won't be...and if not draft another RB or WR.

ASU - wtf? Why was Chris Henry selected? Is this a 14-team league or something?
