Man, that captures my mood perfectly. I saw that they go to St. Louis next and my first thought was "the Cards have lost 8 in a row, they'll be all set to bounce back against the Phils."

Even though this team is less talented than previous versions, it's the most clutch one we've had in a while. We've finally got rid of the RISP numbers that have been plaguing us basically the entire decade. Curious as to how much Manuel or someone else on the coaching staff is responsible for that, or if it's just variance.
