Ugh..

Down 7 buy-ins at 200NL and 3 buy-ins at 100NL this month..LOL

I haven't been able to put in many hands either because of two vacations.. I hope the books I've ordered from Stars show up before my trip because I am going to have a loooottt of free time when the girlfriend falls asleep and I would like to read some books..If they don't come in I am still going to go buy them somewhere but then when I get back I am going to have two copies..

List:
Theory Of Poker
Mathematics of Poker
Psych of Poker
Something about Beating No Limit Poker..I think it might have a cpl good concepts
The Poker MBA..has stuff to do with business I think, which is one of the majors I am taking so that could be very helpful
NLTAP; but already read this and am just re-reading.

Whenever I get back, maybe I will understand a concept or two.

Battle, the graphs are misleading as they show BB not big blind, thus 350 BB = 700 bb or 7 BIs. The graphs always make the swing look softer than they are in reality.

Its nice to think that for every time a Donk calls with his 2 outer for 15bb into a 35bb turn pot and hits and then the lucky donk extracts a further 60bb on the river. That he will lose those 15bb that he called on the turn 19 times for each time he lucks out, and that as a good donk he will spunk off the odd bluff on the river too. Its funny how it never quite feels that profitable when he makes the call.

the good news is you have made about 7BIs in rake back, plus if my calculations are correct you are running about 2ptbb/100 thats a decent WR for NL200.

you play on stars?

I play Full Tilt. The bad news is that i did not get rakeback for this period, also the graph represents 50NL, 100NL and 200NL. 50NL i was around 2 BB/100, 100NL was around 4 BB/100 and 200NL so far 0.17 BB/100. I am yet to see if i can beat 200NL at any kinda of WR. We shall see.. if AA would hold up PF AI, and 2,1,3 outers stopped hitting on the turn, AK could avoid running into KK with K flops two hands in sucession, that would all help of course.. God poker is loooovely
