i put aside money for taxes (always a rough estimate of what i'll owe in addition to my previous quarterly payments) and don't count it as my bankroll, and i also only play stakes i'm overrolled for. is that a good enough answer?

for some its good to see people brought down a notch or two when they deserve it. nice to see reality set in for some people who once thought they were great players and no one was on their level. maybe some still do...

also- i think what he meant by being acountable for variance is determining if losing a hand/session/week is due to variance or bad play. its usually a combination of both, but very few players will admit that.

ipokeded its not a huge deal... but it is kind of anoying when u just sit out of the 8 or so tables u were at... but stay on the tables and leave to somewhere for a few hours. the tables seem to break a lot faster when someone is doing this.
