if you guys want to change the wording when you use it, you are welcome to but that is the final version. It's seriously gone through ten edits and too many cooks spoil the broth. I already addressed the luck thing by adding "compared to other forms of poker", implying that not all poker is based on luck.

I made my own version of this story in a Norwegian forum I administer. The hardest part was clearly to convey the meaning of "lol donkaments" to readers not familiar with the phrase. I came up with something like this:

"The phrase "LOL Donkaments" is internet lingo used in some online poker communities to humorously describe poker tournaments."

Doesn't exactly explain the etymology behind the word, but it doesn't say anything about the luck aspect.

An alternative solution would be to rephrase this part of the press release:

"Greenstein agreed to say the phrase “lol donkaments”, an expression coined by members of Twoplustwo.com which pokes fun at the high level of luck involved in tournaments by combining the words “donkey” and “tournament”."

To this:

Greenstein agreed to say the phrase “lol donkaments”, an expression coined by members of Twoplustwo.com which pokes fun at the often poor skill level of tournament players by combining the words “donkey” and “tournament”.

Then I saw that line about a recurring charge? and thought WTF? I must have stupidly clicked/forgot to click on something, because that's certainly not on the other screenshots. And what does recurring charge mean anyway, when it's Single Payment? Help me, srsly, BBV.

EDIT: I sent them an email, but these guys are gonna be super busy, and I'd appreciate someone here at least explaining to me the definition of whatever stupid mistake I made.

recurring charge means your credit card will get charged every month/year for the amount you donated. Prob. set to month. But dont worry, you have 30 days to change it, so take care of it next week when they are not so busy.
