He can at times, but I guess I'd say he keeps himself in-line enough to avoid penalizing his team. He's definitely good, but Diarra is one of the few (or the only? Mascherano is hard to value but he might be the other. Makelele is still incredible but age is a big factor for him) that I'd swap him for at his position.

Arjen Robben? Joe Cole can also play on the wing and does so for England.

Any way its a mute point because Chelsea are playing a system that must accomodate Ballack and Lampard and Essien thus they are playing narrow. It is not because they lack decent wing players that Chelsea play narrow, it is by design.

for ManU, I'd want Fernando Torres or Samuel Etoo. I know it seems weird that I wouldn't want Van Der Vaart or Ronaldinho, but Van Der Vaart is too selfish and I don't know if Ronaldinho's game would work the way it does in england

as far as any other team in the prem. this one is easy, Aaron Lennon by a mile. He has been nothing short of impressive the past 18 months, and is very young, so you know that the right midfield position is locked down for the next 10-12 years. Of course, this only applies to manU, cause we have Rooney and Ronaldo already. The way i look at it, is that I want a player that is garunteed for many seasons to come, so that's why Henry wasn't my choice

we do, but I chose Torres or Etoo, cause having them paired up with Rooney and Saha would just be too much fun to watch. i'd rather see hargreaves then Gattuso, just cause Gattuso has some mileage on his legs
