Gold With Another One
Erik Friberg limps in from mid-position, Doug Kim completes the small blind and Jamie Gold checks his big blind. The flop comes down 3club3spade2club and Kim bets $200,000 and Gold raises to $500,000. Fridberg fold and Kim folds as well. Gold shows Adiamond9club as he collects the pot.

Nassif Takes a Pot
Michael Binger raises $220,000 pre-flop from the cut-off. Dan Nassif calls on the button. The flop comes AdiamondQheart8heart. Binger bets $400,000 and Nassif calls. The turn is the 9diamond. Both players check. The river is the 5spade. Binger checks and Nassif bets $600,000. Binger folds. He's at $5,100,000 and Nassif is at $5,000,000.

Does anyone know if you can sign up for Sirius right now and receive their broadcast without having their equipment?

The 3 day free trial doesn't include the poker channel.

[/ QUOTE ]

When you sign up for Sirius you also get an online account to access the content online. However, the online content does not include the sports channels (and the poker is being covered on channel 125 which is a sports channel). You must have the unit installed to receive this coverage.

Keep in mind that Raymer had about 5m at about this point in the 2004 WSOP and turned it into 8M+ by the final table. So, Gold is way ahead of where Raymer was at this point in the tournament.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't understand what the eyedrool smiley is supposed to mean.

[/ QUOTE ]

you cant make straight comparisons based on chipcounts since Gold's bubble rapeage is in a tournament with 3x the total chips that Raymer's had

but it shouldnt really matter because on rough estimates alone hes ahead of where raymer was anyways

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought that was what Dynasty meant.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah. I was thinking in terms of %s.

2004 (25,760,000 in play)

At about 12-handed, Raymer had about 5M (20% of chips). At the start of the final table, he had >8M (33% of chips)

2006 (87,730,000 in play)

At 12-handed, Gold already has 30.4M for 34.65% of the chips.
