Eric - many people have asked you many Q's regarding your playing habits, what you were doing, why you set up a 2nd account, etc etc. And you have refused to answer almost all of those Q's.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think this is a very good post. I agree eric, I think you should sit down and really try hard to think about what happened, how it happened, Basically the post that Jan made earlier that had around 10 good questions on. Without losing your temper. This would help your case on here significantly and the more support you have, the more chance you have of getting some closure.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would you please stop talking to yourself?

but I am just not prepared to convict someone without any actual evidence.I am also fed-up of trying to explain myself and it is becoming boring.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nobody asked you to convict, FTP took care of that for you. And yes it is getting boring listening to you whine the same stuff all the time. And just in case anyone new reads the last few pages and skips the first. There is no evidence that FTP's fraud department mishandled this case or that anyone in the dept is dishonest. This is just Mik accusing and convicting without evidence. Sorta the same thing he's arguing about.

I agree. There's also no evidence that FTP's fraud department even investigated this after eric's account was redflagged by a piece of software at cashout.

Nobody knows. That's the problem.

It boggles my mind how people can be so trusting toward an industry that has virtually zero accountability.

SO why have FTP not been back on here then to explain???????? And just because the site "believes" he has cheated, does that actually make it gospel??? Should they not have to prove a case like this? what if you were in this situation, you recieved a series of e-mails, as eric did and you came here for help, but the people here told you that because FTP have looked into this case for 2 months you MUST be guilty?? Nonesense.

[/ QUOTE ]

Come on man. This isn't a court of law. FTP doesn't have to prove anything to anyone aside from the members of their fraud department and managers. They have zero obligation to try this in public and zero obligation to allow Eric to defend himself after he has already had an "appeal" thru Doug.

Doug has found mistakes in this situation before and players have had their accounts unfrozen because of his actions. I have no reason to believe that he wasn't completely honest in his assessment of this situation, and given his track record that is good enough for me.

[ QUOTE ]
I just can't see what is promptimg you to think that the 2+2'ers have made any difference to FTP's fraud department policies in any way.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you think it is having no effect why keep arguing about it? Also go back and read, Doug essentially said that with the way these types of threads have unfolded they will be restructuring their fraud department.

What a load of absolute tosh...hahahahahahaha

If you had a brain and read my arguments you will see that I am just trying to put another perspective of this whole argument accross, against all those that are extremely narrow minded in their views. I have not passed judgement on anyone..all I am looking for is to somehow get some answers to this issue. But I cannot understand how you fellow poker players will allow FTP and UB to be able to act in the ways they do and still not have the sense to question how they can get away with it. Sweetpea makes a good point too, there actually is no evidence to show they actually investagated anything or not if the case may be so. There are a lot of unanswered questions for both parties involved for this case, but there are also a lot of worrying questions in the behaviour of FTP in freezing accounts and confiscating money and without any reasonable evidence.

You're such a moron. Just because you haven't seen the evidence doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And there is absolutely no reason for you or I or anyone else to see this evidence.

What should be done in the future in situations like this is

1) Eric defrauds site and tries to cashout
2) Site freezes account and conducts routine examination
3) Site notifies Eric of investigation
4) Site finds evidence of wrongdoing
5) Site notifies Eric that there are discrepencies involving his account
6) Site investigates the matter completely
7) Site either confiscates his funds and bans him or unlocks his account and processes the cashout
8) Site notifies Eric that his funds have been seized and he has been banned for doing xxxx

You are right. I am gonna give up arguing this. If you guys want to allow these companies to behave in this way then its your business, I suppose. I have just been trying to make a point in regards to their actions/behaviour. Also I have never meant to discredited FTPDoug in any way, I always believe he has been honest, its his company's fraud department, where he obviously obtained the information, that I do not trust. Again I ask, what if Doug had not stepped in to help the other innocent players that have had accounts frozen?? I will leave that to your imagination. Its hard to get anything across when you have people picking out silly bits of your posts and throwing them back at you. Anyway I hope this gets sorted.

So how the hell do you know the evidence does exist??? your argument is absolutely flawed right there. Is it simply because FTP say there is? Are you really that nieve?
