damn i feel like rocky this week.

getting pounded and beat into the ground, but going the distance and managing to win a couple buy ins each time against huge odds.

Whenever I raise to 3xbb from the BTN I get called by someone GUARANTEED.

Try 4x

I always raise 4x except when there's a very short stacked player in the SB or BB.

I'm not sure this is bad. I'm somewhat persuaded by the discussion in NLHE:TAP. I haven't tried it enough to know how it plays though.

It works fine for hands like T8s against weakish players in the blinds. I tend to do this with hands that are not easily dominated and that I am willing to call a raise from the blinds with. If you play well post flop then limping is +EV (note that raising could be +++EV depending on your opponents).
