I admit I feel slightly relieved but am prepared to wait some more.

Explain why all withdrawls from Jan 16-18 are frozen and the US government has them please?

[/ QUOTE ]

My withdrawals were requested within that time frame, right before (hours) [censored] hit the fan.

Is the delay because Neteller is making sure with the DOJ that the payments won't be seized, or because Neteller is using our money as leverage with the DOJ in their court case?

Leverage

I guess I'm glad that my balance doesn't show $0.

I'm a UK Neteller user. I just tried to w/d to my bank account & got a message saying I need to upgrade my account & link to my bank account in order to do so.

Only thing is, I did that a year ago & I've been making withdrawals from Neteleller to my bank ever since, including as recently as December....

Anyone know anything about this?

regards Wado

No worries it is an EU regulation that they have to recertify, some new account number thing you need from your bank. Good new is they pay you a few pennies for the chore.

Richas, I do not believe this will happen... based on what's been written, it sounds more like a check box to simply confirm that your bank account on record is still active.

It already has happened. Neteller made me recertify the account and I had to get a code number from my bank as an additional account certifier. They then deposited a few pence and I had to tell them how much they deposited to confirm I had access to the account to know what the deposit was.

A bit of a pain but compared to some US legislators efforts on "money laundering" a breeze.

oops... that's what I get for not paying attention to the quoted stuff... you are talking about UK Neteller users
