Why are people voting 26...h3?
27.Rxd5 hxg2 28.Kxg2 leaves us two pawns down with no compensation. Just to repeat my analysis for those who haven't read it: 26... Qd6 27.Rh5 (what else?) 27... hxg3 28.Qh3 (if 28.hxg3 Nxg3! 29.Qxg3 Qxg3 30.fxg3 Rxf1 31.Kxf1 Rxe3 is equal) 28... gxf2+ (28...gxh2+ may also work, we will have to decide at that time) 29.Kh1 (29.Kg2 Rg6+ 30.Kh1 f6 31.Rh8+ Kf7 32.Rxe8 Qd5!; 29.Bxf2 Rg6+ 30.Bg3 Qxd4+; 29.Rxf2 Rg6+ 30.Rg2 Rxg2+ 31.Kxg2 Qg6+) 29... Kf8 30.Rh8+ (what else?) 30... Ke7 31.Rxe8 Kxe8 32.Qc8+ Qd8 33.Qxb7 Re6 34.d5 (34.Qxa7 Qd5; 34.Rc1 Kf8; 34.Bxf2 Nxf2 35.Rxf2 Re1+ 36.Kg2 Qg5+) 34...
