Can everyone who doesn't think that sites should confiscate all the money of a cheater's in an account post their usernames here? Thanks. Refer to my past explanation (and bullet points) if you don't understand why stars policy is terrible.

Where do you draw the line between violating the T&C and actually cheating? You have been advocating a policy of having a single punishment for all instances of cheating, regardless of the circumstances or severity. But now you are talking about a person's "intent" behind their actions, and also claiming that certain infractions are not worth the same punishment as other infractions.

You created a poll on "Stars policy vs Party policy" when in fact both sites have the same policy: they make decisions on a case-by-case basis. I have a hard time understanding why anyone would have a problem with this.

[/ QUOTE ]

I never created a poll. I have always assumed both sites have the same claus on account siezures(I don't play much at stars so I'm not sure). When I talked about intent, I was being hypothetical. Party could never prove that a second account was created to cheat.

I've posted this in another thread on cheating. Violating the T&C's and cheating are seperate things. Cheating will almost always involve violating a T&C. Cheating is an instance were a player gains unfair advantage or edge over other players. If violating T&C doesn't do this then it is not cheating.

Suppose party's T&C said you couldn't play poker wearing a red shirt. If I wear a red shirt when I play I am violating T&C's. Obviously I am not cheating. There is no unfair edge I get over others for doing this. Entering 6 accounts into a tourney is violating TnC's and gaing unfair advantage over other players. That's why this is cheating. Using 6 different accounts to play sng's is violating T&C's and gaining unfair advantage over other players.

If a player had created a second account for RB he is violating T&C's, but there is no edge he gets over others for doing so. This is breaking a rule, not cheating.

I don't have a problem with the policy of Stars or Party. I have a problem with Star's not enforcing a punitive measure on a cheater. I agree every instance should be case by case to evaluate if it is cheating. If it is determined that cheating took place then I think there needs to be punitive damages on the cheater.

Do what I did pal, vote with your feet! Or in this case your laptop/mouse.

Customer Service is a misnomer for Party. It doesn't exist and the greedy top management of the company intends to keep it that way, by using an Indian staff who have no clue what is happening one day to the next.

I left before the new software. And I will continue to write off any site that has repeated technical difficulties (listening Bodog?) or poor customer service response.

Right now Stars is way ahead of everyone in Service. But, I do not particularly like the new VPP points as it seems to be geared solely to the ring game player and forgets those who play mainly tournaments, other than STT.

But in every other other they are the leaders. As for finding the softest players, well maybe we just need to all get better.

Everyone forgets about how Prima seized tens of thousands of dollars without an explanation or minor offense, and want poker sites to operate by taking money from anyone they deem realistic.

You really are trustworthy of these overseas and unregulated entities, aren't you?
