Default Re: NBC National Heads-Up Championship - Taping at Caesar\'s 3/4 - 3/6

With a flop of 7c-2c-2h, Amir Vahedi puts Mike Caro all in. Caro calls and shows Kc-8c for a flush draw. Vahedi flips over Kh-7h for two pair. The turn is the 2s, giving Vahedi the full house. Caro must catch an eight to win the pot or a duece or king for a chop. However, the river is the 5h and Mike Caro has been eliminated.

[ QUOTE ]
Tuan Le beat out Hasan Habib.

They chip dumped to each other for 3 hours (Hasan "accidently" folded his BB once when Tuan was limped in the SB" until Hasab was allin in SB with AA and lost to Tuan's 72o on the board of A 7 2 7 7.

After the match they hugged and Hasan was overheard saying "we did it buddy" to Tuan.

Come on, no one thought this was funny?

I missed that one, but yeah it's funny.

Huck Seed, Jim McManus, Scott Fischman, and Chris Ferguson all advance.

Four former WSOP champions biting the dust today. Harrington, Mortenson, Brunson, and Raymer all eliminiated. Sheiky is in the sweet 16 though, cinderella story of the tournament.

Barry Greenstein beat Tuan Le in under 15 minutes - not even one blind level.

11:44 - Shuffle up and deal!
11:58 - Greenstein eliminates Tuan Le

At least Arieh vs Elezra took 16 minutes.

Then in the next round, Greenstein almost finished Vahedi in 14 minutes also. AQ vs AJ, but after they got all-in, the river chopped it.

Wow

Title: Sean Sheikan Hits Quads
Log: Gus Hansen and Sean Sheikan are all in with the board reading 10-10-8-8-8. Hansen flips over 10-6 for tens full of eights but Sheikan shows 9-8 for quad eights. Sheikan doubles up.

[/ QUOTE ]

WOW. Sheik had 3% on the flop, and 2% on the turn to win. Thats so cold. Then Gus busts on top pair + nut flush draw. Sad. 95 times out of 100 Gus would pwn sheik.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cardplayer got the hand wrong the flop came 10-8-8 then the case 8 on the turn.

and if u think gus would beat shawn 95 out of 100 times you are an idiot.

[/ QUOTE ]

What I meant was that if gus's hand would have held up, he would win 95/100 basically. Didn't mean that in 95 out of 100 heads up matches gus would win. Also I didnt realize cardplayer printed the hand wrong.

On a flop of 10-8-2, David Grey checked, Sean Sheikhan bet $8,000 and Grey called. The turn is a seven, Grey again checked and Sheikhan bet $20,000. Grey moved all in and Sheikhan called. Sheikhan flips over pocket aces but Grey shows 8-7 for two pair. Sheikhan will need help on the river...the river is an ace. David Grey is eliminated.

Sean Sheikhan advances to the next round.

THE SLIPPER STILL FITS!!!!!!!!!!

I wish the Seed-Greenstein one would be featured, but it's obviously going to be Neg-Sheik.

If Ferguson loses to McManus or Sheik beats Negreanu, I will be thoroughly disappointed.

Ferg-Neg-Forr-Seed for Final Four!
