If you play 0.01/0.02 NL, then you can put it on check/fold, and only lose $0.03 per 10 hands, assuming full table. So you lose .03 in 100,000 rounds, or $3000. Basically, this should have been a $3000 bet to make it even money?

for some bizarre reason i keep re-reading and re-reading this thread. I think it's probably because for someone like me who basically plays poker just to grind out enough to take vastly under-rolled shots at higher levels OP's reluctance to even attempt to move up/get better at pokah is nothing short of mind-boggling.
