This is what you can get Uptown. 500k is for one floor of this place:   This is about 7-8 blocks from where I live. 2 bed, 2 bath. 1900 square feet. And this is what you can get in the French Quarter  Over 100 years old, 2 bed, 2 bath. 1100 square feet.

~$500k appartment 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. 1291 sq ft    Have a hard time finding anything with decent pics...

This is where I live now, Oshawa Ontario, about 45 minutes east of Toronto. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, in a very nice part of town.
 This is where I used to live, in the north end of Toronto. NOTE: I rented here, did not own. 3 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 floor condo.

Chicago - Wicker Park
the neighborhood used to be pretty dangerous 3-5 years ago. now there are a lot of nice restaurants, bars, boutiques, etc., and it is a very nice place to live. tc
