A couple of new interviews are up on his official site.

Brag: No need to pay for ESPN Insider.

Edit: n/m it's up on ESPN now.

There's a separate interview with a local radio station on his site though.

Kobe's interview on KLAC. . The two DJ's on KLAC interviewing Kobe (and licking his rear end) are among the most annoying people I have ever listened to.

Deal No. 1: Phoenix trades Shawn Marion, Leandro Barbosa, Marcus Banks and the rights to Atlanta's 2008 1st-rounder to the Lakers for Kobe and Radmanovic.

CHRIST HELL NO. I wouldn't trade a $17M ham sandwich for Kobe. Screw that punk-ass. I like to actually like the players on the team I root for.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes but with Kobe the Suns might actually get to the Finals.

Go eff yourself. They're still a top 2-3 team in the west next year with their current roster and my period of mourning from the suspensions has not yet passed to the point where I need to read a dumb-ass comment like that.

tuq,

Stop being a weirdo. You'd be crazy excited if they get to the finals next year.

I don't think it'll happen. Kobe brings Lakers fans to the game no matter what ticket prices are. You think that Lakers fans would be willing to be gouged for those expensive tickets if Kobe wasn't there? No. Unless the trade was very lopsided in favor of the Lakers, they probably wouldn't improve their record any more for next season.

Kobe made his bed by signing an extension to stay with LA, now he must lie in it.

kobe wants out

would the lakers seriously consider trading him? they'd probably glue his hands to the ball to make him play...no way they would trade him.

[/ QUOTE ]

If they were to trade Kobe, Chicago probably makes the most sense, since they are pretty much the only team in the East that could offer anything close to what Kobe is worth on the court without decimating the team and leaving Kobe in the same boat he is in LA. If they were to trade him to a Western team, Pheonix might make sense. Maybe Houston for T-Mac and a role player? Jazz might make sense if Utah was willing to give up Williams and Kirelenko (which they are not). Can't really think of anywhere else he could go where team would still be good, and salaries line up.
