Wearing flip flops leads to knee/shin problems for me, and I need to bike to class every day this summer, so they aren't really an option anyway.
However, I sweat a lot, and socks and shoes leave my feet and shoes quite smelly. The only alternative to this I could think of are Tevas, but they just look so horrid. However, I saw these in Finish Line, and thought they could definitely work as something to just slip on in the morning to go to class in, or for when I'm going to the beach or something. ![]() Thoughts from the fashion gurus? |

I would wear the front 2 pairs with pants. They would look weird with shorts IMO

I have a question for you fashion gurus. I am going to a wedding in Seaside at the end of June (think very hot). I was planning one wearing my mid-summer wedding stand-by, the classic seersucker suit, but I was just told the wedding was actually taking place ON the beach.
Dress was described as dressy casual and the bride directly said no ties. What do I wear? If I wear seersucker pants and a light button down what kind of shoes should I wear? |

How bad is it that my summer shopping consists of about 1 hour at old navy each may? Do you guys shop around online and read clothing forums and stuff? [/ QUOTE ] Depends what you want out of your clothes. If you only want something to cover your body then whatever is fine. If you don't want people to think that you look like you spent an hour at Old Navy then you should go to some more stores, shop around a little. If you want people to consistently remember you as having sweet taste in clothes then you either need to actually have sweet taste in clothes or get some help from somewhere. Reading magazines, getting advice from other people such as store clerks or people's style that you like, or noticing people who get praised for their taste are all good ways to look good. |

This is actually my standard procedure for any new season. I'm a college kid so professional style isnt exactly important. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm interested in looking better so I've started paying more attention to people that dress well and have been reading about traditional style advice. I've also started buying more stuff online, they make it real easy with free shipping both ways and deals/discounts... |

They both have a selection of linen shirts every spring/summer. Linen is the best for hot weather. It's exceptionally light and breathable and looks good with shorts or jeans. Once you get some you'll never go back to t-shirts which, especially in NY, seem far too warm IMO. |

Hey I just wanted to throw out there for anyone looking for t-shirts that both Threadless.com and Turntablelab.com are having memorial day sales. Threadless is cheap as can be right now and theyre rolling out a lot of sweet designs that are selling out quickly.
