MNPoker,

In the upgraded PartyPoker client, PartyGaming Casino was not downloaded on my computer. Blackjack can be hidden in the options menu. So that leaves sidebets which are annoying but can be removed (removing the image or reconfiguring the image not to appear, reference in another post and doable on old party client as well.)

I dont see how including these new games/bets/options contradicts their responsible gambling efforts. Now that the accounts are linked the deposit limits still apply to all Party gaming activities.
And IMHO if you can't have enough personal control that you require PartyGaming to block/hide/remove these other gambling activities from you then it is questionable if you should be allowed to play poker either.

Nothing personal just my $0.02

Most of the issues have been addressed shortly after the release. The tech team is working on the 'multiple click buttons'.
With all that was going on it was impossible to keep up with all of the questions/comments/concerns.
If you have anything to add that hasnt already been covered, please respond in one of the threads that Mike Haven created.
Within the next week I will go through the threads and make a post addressing everything that I can.

This was posted directly below my thread asking about the Blackjack and casino stuff being separate (or the ability to remove them) without being answered.

[/ QUOTE ] Then why allow players to set deposit limits? Doesn't the same self-control issue apply here?

The issue with the 'multiple clicks' appears to have been fixed. If you are still experiencing this please post. Thanks.

I still haven't connected successfully once. Anybody have any idea why or is it down for everyone?

To Party Rep:

This is a terrible way to treat your best customers.

Please make this upgrade optionable for at least another month.

You will get enough people to use the Beta and work out all the bugs that you obviously have not resolved or cared to fix.

The upside is you will not enrage your best customers with computer crashes, 2nd party software problems, and most importantly....

LOST INCOME DUE TO CRASHES OR TIMING OUT WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF A HAND.

regards

A 3 yr, high rake, customer

[/ QUOTE ]

They'll hopefully get it worked out in a couple days, and clearly, trying to rollback to the previous version, or make this whole giant upgrade optional wouldn't be practical and would look terrible for their company.

P.S.-- It is of course a mixed bag, but the new store is awesome, couple that with frequent deposit bonuses and the vip program, and having somebody here answering our questions about the update, and come on, even if you end up choosing not to play at party, they deserve some credit these days (last day of the cabin freeroll was seriously botched though).

P.P.S.-- TO PARTY REP: Next time you have a chance, please do answer my question about spreading some of the less common games (e.g. 2-7 triple draw, and razz), you'd grab some full tilt and ub players if you spread those, and it would give you a leg up in the race with p-stars.

For those with the 6-max issue, doesn't Poker Tracker have a way to search for tables that meet 6-max criteria and change those sessions to 6-max? It's a little more inconvenient for you but it seems that's how many other sites work...

Me neither.

My internet is fine. Norton isn't blocking anything with party. I have no clue why it works for some but not me or you or others. All I know is this was a completely wasted day and it would be really nice if tomorrow wasn't the same.

Please address issues related to the VIP Acceler-8-ator promotion, including:

1) Will we still be paid today as previously stated
2) Will there be consideration for the lost time due to these widespread software problems.

Thanks.
